And the chiropteran are perfect enemy. They have ensured that across the world, especially in poor areas, the supply coverage of Cinq Fleches food aid has been increasing tremendously; the people who have been consuming such food aid would have the possibility of turning into Chiropteran. In exchange Van assures him that only Corpse Corps can defeat chiropterans which means they would have both the means of producing and killing chiropterans under their control.
After Red Shield attacks at the Metropolitan Opera and Diva's song causes chaos raising chiropterans everywhere, he makes his escape. On his way, he demands answers from Van. With the intent of returning to Washington, he talks about enacting “Option D,” and then keeps Van from entering the elevator because he is to blame, leaving him with only a handgun.
