Relay-station blown up

A parabolic antenna is an antenna that uses a parabolic reflector, a curved surface with the cross-sectional shape of a parabola, to direct the radio waves. Parabolic antennas are used as high-gain antennas for point-to-point communications, in applications such as microwave relay links that carry telephone and television signals between nearby cities, wireless WAN/LAN links for data communications, satellite communications and spacecraft communication antennas.

In the Anime

After the tv reports announced the live telecast of Diva's performance will be broadcast through satellite, David outlines a plan where they go and plant a bomb at the parabolic antenna of a broadcast relay station in New York. However, David says that this will only prevent the satellite transmission, so there are other forces of Red Shield making moves elsewhere to stop every sort of broadcast.

Lewis is sent to place the bomb in the antennae station. When Diva takes her stage, David orders Lewis to blow up the satellite relay stations. Lewis finally blows up the satellite relays stations, taking out all the transmissions. But this victory is short-lived, as the broadcast soon continues. Lewis reports to David that the enemy is directly transmitting to the military’s satellites, so it’s useless if they don’t take out where the transmission is coming from.
